POSITION: C / C++ Java Consultants DURATION: Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
12 month contract with possible extension. Consultants will be responsible for designing, establishing and maintaining networked systems software. Will also troubleshoot and resolve complex systems software problems. Also responsible for researching and implementing complex technical business solutions. Also responsible for testing and documentation of complex networked systems.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 8 years of C or C++ programming experience in a Linux/Unix and Windows environment.
  • At least 5 years of Java Client/Server design and programming experience.
  • Must be strong in all major Internet protocols (FTP/FTTP, TCP/IP).
  • Proficiency in Linux, UNIX and MS Windows operating systems.
  • Capable of working independently with little to no supervision.
  • Deep experience in cross-system design and troubleshooting at communications protocol level.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of relational databases.
  • Requires transaction processing, payment processing or similar financial services experience.
  • Must be self-motivated, and possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Consultants MUST be able to pass a very extensive background check, and a drug screen prior to start date.
