POSITION: Web Developer - VB.Net/ASP.Net DURATION: Contract-to-Hire
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is for a Web developer for .Net applications using VB.NET and ASP.NET. The position will be part of a team of developers working on developing applications to replace legacy applications from a mainframe environment, as well as developing new applications and interfaces based on new system platforms. The developer will plan, design, develop and implement applications using the ASP.Net environment. Apply sound development practices to development process for interfaces and applications. Create, maintain and deploy web solutions using VS.Net 2005. Update existing Web applications from ASP.Net 2002/2003 to ASP.Net 2005
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years experience in planning, designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting client server applications.
  • Knowledge of web standards with emphasis on CSS.
  • At least 5 years experience with development in a combination of the following languages/environments:
  • Visual Studio.NET - VB.NET, ASP.NET (2005, 2003)
  • Web Development - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, AJAX
  • Graphics - Photoshop, Flash
  • Requires strong written & verbal communications skills.
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports and/or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) a plus.
